Clients often ask which is better. The honest answer is that they solve different problems, and many people benefit from both at different times.
When we lean toward microneedling
Microneedling builds collagen. It is our first choice for acne scars, enlarged pores, and fine lines where the skin needs structural support. It is safe for all skin tones because it does not use heat.
When we lean toward a peel
Peels work on the surface and slightly below it. They are often better for pigmentation, active acne, and dullness. Mild peels have little to no downtime.
The question isn’t which treatment is better. It’s which one your skin needs right now.
At your consultation, we look at your skin under good light, talk about your timeline and downtime, and recommend one, the other, or an alternating plan.
